another very enjoyable week of running in harmony with my heart. with the step up in miles i have been endeavoring to stay off pavement as much as possible. the highlight of the week was a 30 mile run on friday. i experimented with some of the strategy i have in mind for the 9.11 patriots' run (a 9 hour and 11 minute event). i was very pleased with how things went. saturday i experienced some tenderness in my left tibia. i am going to try to be sensitive to what my body might be communicating to me. running in harmony with my heart and listening to my body - that will be the challenge.

a new canvas will be available tomorrow :)

I've been doing 7 and 3 for an average of 12 minute miles. My hope for Patriots run is 45 miles.

See you there, you speed demon!

Rob,
I gotta say, I am uber impressed with your site, your story, and your training. I was quickly scrolling through your photos on your site and I thought the picture of the 270 pound you was someone else.

Way to go man. I added you on dailymile. Look forward to tracking you. Good luck, have fun, and stay healthy.
