an awesome week of running. a record week regarding mileage. prior to this week my biggest week was 53.5 miles. some discomfort at times in my left tibia, but my thought at this point is that it is just an indication that it is still in the healing process. wild run on the frisco. i was dreaming of going very long but the sun came out and i bailed out. during the bailing out process i ended up cutting across a field and encountered a bull (thus the picture above). i turned around and ran away (thankfully the bull did not charge).

i very much enjoyed watching the ncaa track and field championships live on the web. galen rupp was awesome and it was awesome to see german fernandez win the 1500 (from the front - pre would be proud).
