02.03.2009: 4 miles of walking in republic, mo.: 54 minutes and 22 seconds


a.m.: 4 miles of running in republic, mo.: 32 minutes and 1 second

p.m.: 6 miles of running in republic, mo.: 48 minutes and 7 seconds

02.05.2009: 5 miles of roller skiing at j.r. martin park in republic, mo.: 26 minutes and 4 seconds

02.06.2009: 11 miles of running in republic, mo.: 1 hour, 31 minutes and 9 seconds

02.07.2009: rest day

02.08.2009: 12 miles of running on the galloway trail in springfield, mo.: 1 hour, 50 minutes and 17 seconds

total running miles for 2009: 231 miles

most of this week was real positive. i picked up my pace and i was enjoying the improvements in the area of efficiency. i was sensing a lot of confidence for my upcoming race events. the negative happened during the last mile and a half of my sunday run. i started to experience some discomfort in my left groin muscle. the pain actually got sharp enough to force me to slow down. i am following all the treatment steps for this situation and i am hopeful that i will be ready to go on saturday for the "pscyho wyco run toto run 10 mile trail run".
